Well we got back from Cyprus last week feeling very depressed the holiday was over and due to work commitments know that our next holiday will be our honeymoon. This may sound ok but the thought of 7 months and no time off is quite depressing . Its not all bad though as we still have lots of planning and preparation to do for the wedding and the honeymoon which is very exciting!

Cyprus was fantastic the weather was good but we never got time to have a sunbathing day by the pool or at a beach which was a bit dissapointing. As we were all inclusive we didn’t get the usual feeling at the end of the week that we had been spending too much money, this meant by the end of the week we were not ready to come home and wished we booked a 2nd week.

I think for our honeymoon we will go for 2 weeks off so we can have the time to have fun and see the sights as well as relax by a pool or beach. This got us thinking about hooneymoon destinations…

I am determined to go somewhere hot as I am a sun worshipper and I think I am solar powered and come alive when the weather is hot. Luke wants somewhere that we can do things, see things as he is very active, ideally we want somewhere that combines the two.

We have been thinking about things we can do together, although I have a fish phobia I went shark diving a few years ago and would love to do something like that again with Luke, he also loves scuba diving so somewhere that offers these kind of activities would be good.

We thought about Barbados but as we hope to go November this may be the tail end of Monsoons apparently, which woud be typical as Luke is a bit of a rain/bad weather God.

Luke’s mum suggested Egypt which looks fantastic and seems to have lots to do as well as the weather. We are still looking for destinations and hope what ever we do will be all inclusive as we are converted! Any ideas are welcome please leave a comment with your suggestions.
