Jennifer Hudson’s fiance David Otunga is keen for Jennifer to sing at their wedding, he also wants to enjoy her performance whilst him and their six-month-old son David Jr. wear matching tuxedos- cute!

Jennifer Hudson is planning her wedding to professional wrestler David Otunga and her fiancee has revealed he wants her to show off her vocal talents on the wedding day by treating him and their guests to a live performance.

Jennifer first found fame on American idol and the wedding will have performances from other American Idol contestants as well as the Dream Girl herself. Jennifer is a beautiful singer with a powerful voice and it is not surprising David is proud and wants her to show off her talents.

He said: “It would be great if any of the former American Idols sang at the wedding. And it would be wonderful to have Jennifer sing – I’d love that. But I won’t be because I don’t sing!”

The couple – who met at Jennifer’s 27th birthday party in 2008 – have a six-month-old son David Jr. and they are keen for the tot to play a big part on their special day.

David said: “I want my son and I to wear matching custom tuxedos!”

A date has already been set for the nuptials and the couple are busy finalising plans.

He revealed to Life and Style magazine: “We’ve picked a date. And Jennifer has chosen her dress, but she won’t tell me much about that, obviously.

“We know who we want to design the rings – Neil Lane, he made our engagement rings. And he’s a personal friend as well.”

Grappler David – who is one of eight professional wrestlers appearing on the World Wrestling Entertainment’s new reality show ‘WWE NXT’ – recently said he wanted tie the knot in a wrestling ring.

When asked whether the WWE could convince the couple to get married in the squared circle, David joked: “We could do that. I don’t know if Jennifer would go for it, but I’d be up for it.”

Would you sing on your wedding day? I don’t think my guests would want me to sing but even if I had Jennifer Hudsons talent I probably would rather sit back and enjoy the day. However, your wedding day is your day to be a star and if singing is your bag it would be a nice gesture to your husband to sing a special song.

Salma Hayeks Wedding Part Deux

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009

Salma Heyak and multimillionaire boyfriend Francois-Henri Pinault got married on the most romantic of all dates, the 14th of February, but for this lavish couple this was not enough to mark the occassion therefore this weekend got married again.

Only the rich and famous can afford a beautiful wedding on Valentines day and then a fairytail wedding a few months later. I guess it was just in case some one (or some photographer) hadn’t seen the first wedding they had to make sure everyone in the world knew they were married.

I’m just jealous as I would love to have a wedding in Venice, Italy surrounded by A listers such as Charlize Theron and Penelope Cruz, Salma even got the chance to sing a long with Bono! The celebrations went on for two days and was covered by People magazine.

Renewing your vows is a lovely way to celebrate your marriage but did hey really need to renew them a mere 2 months after the original day?

Salma did have a beautiful gown, white Ballenciaga gown with a bouquet of orchids and looked stunning in front of the photograohers and 150 of her closest A list celebrity friends.

Jade’s Wedding

Jade Goody wedding

I have now given into the fact that I will be watching Jade’s wedding when it airs tonight, I had previously vowed not to watch it as I don’t like getting too caught up in celebrity hype but I want to see what her wedding is like.

When it was announced last year that Jade had cancer, I must admit I thought it was a publicity stunt. I am ashamed to say it, but her reputation doesn’t give you a lot of faith in her motives . The truth is the past few months she has been inspiring.

More women have gone for cervical smears as Jade has raised awareness of this, a smear is not a pleasant experience and women tend to put them off as long as possible. It is unfortunate that it is under these circumstances but the thick gobby one in big brother and the bully in celebrity big brother is finally doing something worth while. I must commend the way she is handling this and she has shown the nation that life is short so you should enjoy it and at the end of the day it is family and friends that really marry.

I am concerned by her choice of partner, Jack always looks to me, to be a bit bored when he is listening to Jade, and I know other people have blogged about what Jack see’s in multimillionaire Jade. Even as Jade is struggling in pain she supports Jack and his assault charges, I feel any supportive lover would protect her and make sure the situation did not arise.

I am hoping to be proved wrong in tonights program and hopefully see a tear in his eyes or chocked back emotions as this is such a poignant circumstance to get married.

Tonight should see a real fairytale wedding, as Muhammad Al Fayed donated the wedding dress from Harrods, and Girls Aloud performed this expects to be a dream wedding for Jade and a lovely occassion for friends and family to remember.

Alot of people have critised Jades publicity over these intimate moments but I commend her as she is building a future for her children, her priorities are right although I worry the toll of the publicity may act as a catalyst for her deteriorating health.

Big Brother Stars Marry in Plymouth

grace adams and mikey dalton
It seems I’m not the only person opting for a West Country wedding, as Grace Adams Short is due to marry her Fiancee Mikey Dalton in Plymouth this Autumn. The couple met on Big Brother 2006 and have been an item ever since. They got engaged after a few months and are finally tying the knot.

Grace grew up in Plymouth and has opened a performing arts school in the area, she reportedly searched all over the UK for a good venue but eventually decided to look closer to home and all the suppliers for the wedding are local to Plymouth.

Grace obviously thinks highly of the area but when an article on her upcoming nuptials was published on the Plymouth website, thisisplyouth.co.uk it was met with contreversial comments from local people who threw back the compliment to their town and branded Grace as a bully.

In my opinion I can see why Grace chose Plymouth to get married as it is a beautiful area with fresh produce and resources that can be used for the wedding. Grace has openly admited that her behaviour in the Big Brother house was regretable and I would hope that 3 years on she has learnt a lot and grown into a nicer young woman. She may not be Mother Theresa but she has done her bit to use her fame and set a good example.

I’m sure Grace and Mikey will have a lovely wedding and if it draws more attention to the area, then even better.
